Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician for repairing office equipment (I.E. MFPs, copiers, printers) . As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for responding to service calls for clients who need repair on their office technology equipment. You will travel to the client location, diagnose the problem, and make necessary repairs. You will inspect the machine, perform the necessary routine & preventative maintenance, and replace any parts that are nearing expiration. You will also be delivering toner and office supplies as needed. You will communicate the status of repairs to the client, order parts, and schedule a return visit if it isn't possible to make the repair immediately. You will enter service tickets into our database and get signatures when required. You are expected to complete required tasks in a timely accurate manner and report back to management when required. Must possess the ability to self-manage and perform with minimal supervision. Job will require lifting of up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, standing, and moving of large objects

You will be provided with a laptop, a smart phone, and company vehicle. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate car stock and inventory count.

Requirements:

  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Clean driving history with no DUI convictions or reckless driving infractions in the past 5 years.
  • Basic computer knowledge

 

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience in sales
  • Experience repairing copiers and printers
  • Training through employment or a technical college in automotive repair, computer repair, as well as personal experience, will also be considered.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office & Teams programs
